Notoscopelus resplendens és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia

Els mascles poden assolir 9,5 cm de longitud total.
Nombre de vèrtebres: 35-38.^[1]^[2]

Reproducció

És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.^[3]

Depredadors

És depredat per Lagenodelphis hosei (a les Filipines), Stenella attenuata^[4] i Stenella longirostris (Filipines).^[5]^[6]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 0-2.121 m de fondària.^[1]^[7]

Distribució geogràfica
