Morfologia

Reproducció

És ovípar i els ous no són protegits pels pares.[3]

Hàbitat

És un peix d'aigua dolça i de clima tropical.[1]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Àfrica: és una espècie de peix endèmica del riu Volta.[1][4][5][6]
