Funkcija
Proteoliza pomoću ubikvitin-proteasomskog sistema kontrolira koncentraciju mnogih regulatornih proteina. Selektivnost ubikvitilacija određena je ubikvitinskim E3-ligazama , koje prepoznaju signal destabilizacije supstrata, ili degron . E3-ligaza UBR2 učestvuje na putu N-kraja , koji cilja na proteine koji nose N-terminalni degron ili N-degron (Kwon et al., 2003; prema OMIM -u.)[ 5]
