Marko Vešović (1945 - 2023)[1] rođen u mjestu Pape kod Bijelog Polja (Crna Gora), bio je bosanskohercegovački i crnogorski književnik koji je živio i radio u Sarajevu.

Gimnaziju je završio u Bijelom Polju, Filozofski fakultet u Sarajevu. Postdiplomski studij završio je na Filološkom fakultetu u Beogradu. Kao profesor radio u sarajevskoj srednjoj Autosaobraćajnoj školi i u gimnaziji “Pero Kosorić”. Desetak godina Marko Vešović bio je profesor na Filozofskom Fakultetu u Sarajevu; zatim je niz godina bio urednik u Izdavačkoj kući “Veselin Masleša”. Na Filozofski fakultet vratio se 1992.godine[2]. Deset godina kasnije odbranio je  doktorsku disertaciju “Jezik u poeziji Radovana Zogovića“ na svom matičnom fakultetu. Marko Vešović objavio je preko 30 knjiga poezije i proze, pjesničkih prevoda, esejistike i polemika[3].

Knjiga "Razgovori s Markom"[4][5] autora Almina Kaplana, koja se bavi Markovim životom, objavljena je 2022. godine. Umro je u Sarajevu 17. augusta 2023. godine.
