Мирослав Йотов е български художник, творящ в жанра исторически реализъм.[1][2]

Биография

Роден е на 26 юли 1977 г. в Исперих. Завършва междинно обучение със специалност „графичен дизайн“ в Разград.[3] През 2000 г. завършва специалност „Педагогика на изобразителното изкуство“ в Шуменския университет.

Творчество

Мирослав Йотов участва в студентски изложения. Експериментира в периода 2000 – 2004 г., а от 2005 г. се насочва към живописта. През същата година печели скулптурна премия на пленер в Шумен. 2006 г. открива първата си независима живописна галерия. Поради засиления интерес към неговите творби от 2005 г. предимно се занимава с поръчкова маслена живопис и статуя. Рисува изключително с маслени бои.

Отличия

Печели първо място на международен конкурс, организиран по инициатива на английския скулптор Джонти Хървиц, с провокативен проект, озаглавен „Сбогом, зло“.[4]

През 2020 г. печели първо място на ежегодния конкурс „Историческа живопис“, организиран от Исторически парк край Варна с картината си „Прием при цар Симеон Велики“.[5][6] Участващите картини формират най-голямата изложба за историческа живопис в България.
