География

По данни от 2009 г. само 7,46% от територията на щата е покрита с гори. Най-големите горски масиви са съсредоточени в окръг Данг. Въпреки това, в щата има четири национални парка, един от които, Националният парк Гир, е последното място на обитаване на азиатския лъв. Другите национални паркове са Вансда, Велавадар и Rann of Kutch – голямо сезонно солено блато в северозападната част на Гуджарат. Има също няколко резервата.
