Richard Arlen (1 de setiembre de 1899, Saint Paul – 28 de marzu de 1976, Hollywood), foi un actor d'Estaos Xuníos.

El so nome real yera Cornelius Richard Van Mattimore y nació en Charlottesville, Virxinia, sirvió na Royal Canadian Air Force mientres la Primer Guerra Mundial. Al acabar la guerra, dir a Los Angeles onde se punxo a trabayar en diverses ocupaciones non cualificaos. Por un golpe de suerte, tuvo la oportunidá d'actuar, apaeciendo primeru en películes mudes, pasando depués a les películes falaes.

Arlen ye conocíu pol so papel de pilotu na película ganadora del primer Óscar en 1927 "Wings" onde actuó xunto a Clara Bow, Charles 'Buddy' Rogers, y la so futura primer a esposa Jobyna Ralston.
