Miguel Torga (12 d'agostu de 1907, São Martinho de Anta – 17 de xineru de 1995, Coímbra) ye l'alcuñu adoptáu en 1934 pol escritor portugués Adolfo Correia da Rocha.

Fíu de llabriegos, emigró con trelce años al Brasil, d'onde volvió pa Portugal nel 1925 pa estudiar na Facultá de Medicina de la Universidá de Coímbra, au terminaría los sos estudios en 1933. Exerció de médicu y mesmo d'albeitre en dellos conceyos del país, enantes d'establecese definitivo en 1939 en Coímbra.

Entamó cola lliteratura nel primer añu de la universidá, forxándose yá'l Torga poeta de Tras-Os-Montes. Foi una de les figures cimeres de la lliteratura portuguesa del sieglu XX y tuvo llazos mui fuertes coles fasteres tresmontanes falantes de mirandés.
