Ignacio Camuñas Solís (1 de setiembre de 1940, Madrid) ye un políticu y editor español. Llicenciáu en Drechu pola Universidá Complutense de Madrid y en Drecho comparáu pola Universidá d'Estrasburgu, ex-ministru de Gobiernu d'España, es diplomáticu de profesión.

Biografía

Foi direutor y conseyeru delegáu del grupu editorial Guadiana de Publicaciones, editor de la revista mensual Gentleman.

Mientres la transición democrática, participó na creación d'Unión de Centru Democráticu (UCD) en 1977, col Partíu Demócrata Popular (PDP) del que foi fundador y secretariu xeneral, ascrito a la Plataforma de Convergencia Democrática, formando l'ala Lliberal de la UCD. El PDP foi l'únicu representante español nel Congresu Européu de Partíos Lliberales celebráu en L'Haya, en 1976.

Diputáu de la UCD dende 1977 (ocupó'l puestu 7 na candidatura al Congresu de los Diputaos por Madrid), ministru de Rellaciones coles Cortes, presidente de la Comisión de Asuntos Esteriores del Congresu de los Diputaos y presidente de la Comisión Mesta Cortes Xenerales-Parllamentu Européu.

En 1980 na ventena octava edición del Club Bilderberg, celebrada en Bad Aachen, na Alemaña occidental, los díes 18, 19 y 20 d'1abril, foi l'únicu representante español ellí.[2]

Foi miembru del Comité Executivu y vicepresidente de la Internacional Lliberal.

Foi secretariu xeneral de la Comisión Española de la Unesco y conseyeru del direutor xeneral de la organización. Tamién formó parte en dalgunes ocasiones de la Delegación española na Organización de les Naciones Xuníes (ONX).

Foi presidente del Centru de Fundaciones y, años más tarde, presidente de l'Asociación Española de Fundaciones; anguaño preside'l Foru de la Sociedá Civil. Tien la Gran Cruz de Carlos III.

El 16 de xineru de 2014 presentó'l nuevu partíu políticu VOX xunto con otros ex-militantes de la UCD y del Partido Popular. Más tarde foi escoyíu vicepresidente d'esti partíu; sicasí, en setiembre d'esi mesmu añu anunció que dexaba la so militancia.[3][4][5][6]

En 2018 espresó la so discrepancia cola agresiva política de confrontación fecha pol nuevu PP de Pablo Casado escontra'l PSOE yá que, al so entender, la gravedá de la situación creada n'España pol independentismu catalán fai perimportante "rescatar" al PSOE p'algamar una entente de partíos constitucionales, escenariu que s'alloñaba peligrosamente cola nueva estratexa d'oposición del PP en mou fueu a discreición.[7]
