Jaydeep Pathakji of The Times of India rated 3/5 stars praised the film's interesting premise and its blend of rural and urban elements. However, the reviewer feel that the first half lacks momentum. After the interval, the movie becomes more engaging, particularly in its portrayal of two parallel storylines. While there are elements of propaganda, the film remains focused on its core themes, especially in the second half.[8] Payal Naik of Sakal rated 3/5 stars and finds Yek Number interesting but notes that the first half is slow, with the film gaining momentum in the second half through engaging twists. Dhairya Gholap's performance is solid, though somewhat repetitive, while Rajesh Khera shines as the villain. The direction and writing keep the audience engaged, despite some predictability. Overall, the film is entertaining, especially for Raj Thackeray's supporters, though it may seem typical to others.[9]
