Sorry but i didnt understand the message and I can see it is relating to any article that is why i reverted it, and since you are already warned, that made the comment more suspicious, If I am mistaking am sorry MaenK.A.Talk12:43, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding my Recent Edit
You've got to admit, renaming the caption of a photo "Fart Dragon" was pretty funny. I know you're laughing, even if you give me my final warning as you do it. There has to be some edits that are somewhat humorous to you. After all, you are human... I'm not doing it all to be destructive, but it is cool to see the article with different captions on it (like Fart Dragon). I'm sorry if I have offended you and will make every effort to keep from making disruptive edits in the future. Thank you for giving me my warnings, you're a pretty cool police man. In an article like asthma, I think it would be better if you based the content on secondary sources rather than articles that you have found in the BMJ's online archive. Could I persuade you to discuss your additions on Talk:Asthma? JFW | T@lk16:29, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I see, there is very few secondary sources too, I looked it over and over, I am actually trying to look for landmarks in the history of the research about asthma, thats why you find that some information is not applicable to today's medicine, as the current understanding of the disease was mostly understood in the 60's and later. please suggest any sources to help expanding the article MaenK.A.Talk16:45, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
marshall syndrome
Why did you create a page at wikipedia about the marshall syndrome?\
I have concerns about this image and its usage in the EKG article. The image is vectorized directly from the Book 'The Only EKG Book You'll Ever Need 6th Edition' page 38, thus it is certainly not a public domain image. The image should be replaced with free (and also better) image. --Jptvie (talk) 12:10, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nina photo question
Hi,
I believe you took the photo of the Nina replica on the Wiki. Corpus Christi entry?
I'm interested in nautical history. We will be in Corpus this coming weekend.
Do you know if that replica is a museum ship there in the marina still today? Or was it just visiting there and is now gone?

Thanks for your comments. I wasn't aware that one shouldn't copy and paste. However, I am unable to move the page in question (from National Museums of Scotland to National Museums Scotland) because the latter page exists (with on a forward to the former). Because the former page exists, it is not possible to move to latter to the same name. As the name of the organisation changed five years ago, Wikipedia should accurately reflect this, which it currently does not.
I would appreciate your guidance as to how to achive this move. Is it possible to delete the National Museums Scotland page, so that the National Museums of Scotland page can be moved? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tizard99 (talk • contribs) 17:03, 26 November 2011 (UTC)Tizard99 (talk) 17:05, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

hi there :)
I hope you dont mind me posting here as well as I just emailed you.. but just thought I'd let you know I have and I also wanted to see where this posts ends up...whether it ends up on the bottom of your page or not (appoliges if it dont).
Anyway.. looking forward to seeing your response to the email ive sent and if you are interested in helping me set up a page.
(I do also have a medical interest in other things other then the page Im wanting help with too.. if I could figure out the wiki better.. maybe I then could help out at this site with edits for other medical conditions too).
Hello... First of all you are so welcome to wikipedia... second am ready to offer any help you might want.. especially if related to medical articles or your user page. am sorry but i didnt get your email, can you please send it again or just tell me what you want on my talk page??. Again welcome to wikipedia :) MaenK.A.Talk16:04, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
in response to your message to mine
Hi :) thank you for the wiki welcome.
I just earlier today after I'd emailed you using the madhero88 at gmail address mentioned (not sure why it didnt get to you)...but I ended up finding the live chat and got some help so now the new page is up and being done.
I thought you may of been interested I noticed you'd done essential hypertension. The new page is on "Orthostatic Hypertension" which is a bit tricky as there is hardly much online about the condition and some of my knowledge comes from medical specialists on the disorder.
I currently dont have any questions to ask you, due to getting a lot of advice on working wiki today but bound to have more in future as Im just learning. :)
Feel welcome to contribute to the new page if you want. Ive put all the info onto it so far with others fixing my wiki mistakes.. within the next couple of days I'll be adding more references as some of the things Ive said that I know are factual but havent yet had time to find the references for.
If you have a medical knowledge maybe you can put down one of the main theories of thought of how the condition actually occurs as Im going to really struggle with that. (I struggle to get my head around that the theory of pressor reflexes over compensating).
edit addition. I just got stuck doing the page. I dont know where that straight downward slash is on my computer for doing reference formating, so half my references work with / but the other half dont (another ending up fixing the others for me). If you are bored, there is a messed up reference format currently that I cant fix myself in the treatment section I just started at the new page "orthostatic hypertension"
Thanks if you get to it before anyone else does.
Hi again. I forgot to leave my email address its taniaaust1 at hotmail, I know now how to get my messages at wiki.
I are running into some more issues with the Orthostatic Hypertension page now. Someone complained it was looking like a medical journal article so I guess it needs to be made more looking encyclopedic (I've put some things on it in lists as that was the clearest way I could think to put them in eg list of symptoms, maybe that is all adding to it looking like a medical journal article?).
Also thou references for almost all the things Ive said Ive found now and put on the page, some of the things Ive put down appear to be unreferenced as I dont know what to do when the same reference source references several different things mentioned on the page, in different places on the page (so that is leaving me with just putting it by one of those things, with the others things appearing to unreferenced when in fact they have got supporting reference but its elsewhere on the page).
Thanks for your offer to help.
Lets see if I can sign my name at the bottom of this correctly today.
Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.
Thanks for the welcome... but i'm almost a regular & I'd actually just forgotten to log in to Wikipedia.... sorry

Copyright problems
Hi. Thanks for your willingness to rewrite the article. Unfortunately, we can't host the content even temporarily in userspace. All material on any page in Wikipedia must comply with our copyright policies. Please review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
I see at a glance that the lead paragraph as placed in your sandbox still copies the source article at Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology:
Celiac crisis is a life threatening syndrome where celiac disease causes acute dramatic metabolic derangements.[1][2] Common manifestations of celiac crisis include severe diarrhea, hypoproteinemia, and metabolic and electrolyte disturbances significant enough to require hospitalization.[3][4]
Celiac crisis is a life threatening syndrome where celiac disease causes acute dramatic metabolic derangements. Common manifestations of celiac crisis include severe diarrhea, hypoproteinemia, and metabolic and electrolyte disturbances significant enough to require hospitalization.1, 2
Beyond actual copying, there is very close paraphrasing of the source such that we could not use:
Like celiac disease in general, celiac crisis appears to be triggered by a general immune stimulus such as surgery, infection or pregnancy as has been previously described.
Like celiac disease in general, celiac crisis in this series appears often to be precipitated by a general immune stimulus such as surgery, infection or pregnancy as has been previously described.
(I also have to ask if you have actually checked the sources in this article yourself; if you have not, but are citing to them based on their usage in the paper from which you copied, I'm afraid this is also an issue of Wikipedia:Plagiarism, although the copyright concerns are my area.)
Content has also been copied from at least one other source:
Microscopic colitis may be one of the factors that contribute to the development of this condition.
Your sandbox has been blanked and listed at the copyright problems board. Please rewrite the article from scratch, in compliance with our copyright policies. You may used brief and clearly marked quotations, accurately cited to the source you used, but you cannot copy content from copyrighted documents otherwise. If the article is not rewritten at that space within a week, it is likely to be deleted. (If you are actually the copyright holder of these articles, the procedure for verifying that is set out on the template blanking your sandbox. You can also read about it at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.)
Please let us know if you have created other articles by copying or closely paraphrasing content from your sources. If the sources are non-free, the content will need to be rewritten.
I have a pretty good idea what's required. I've been out all day but should have some time in about 12 hours. If you like, I'll have a look at what you've done then and can help with the rewrite. I'll check back then. --Anthonyhcole (talk) 15:15, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I can't spend any time on it today, either. Just some thoughts for now:
I had a quick look at the Google Book search results for "celiac crisis" and "coeliac crisis" and found a couple of recent-ish textbooks with descriptions of the thing. It may be simpler (for you and for readers wanting to verify the article) to base the article on a couple of those textbooks, provided they say what's necessary. If you can reduce the number of references to a handful of textbooks, it's much easier to read and verify, and satisfies WP:MEDMOS per its preference for secondary sources.
Our article must be entirely different from its sources in terms of language used and organisation (sequence, layout, logical progression). I'll talk to you tomorrow. --Anthonyhcole (talk) 07:37, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for dropping the ball on this, and everything else lately. I've been a bit under the weather but am on the mend. When I next get to the med library I'll pull out what they have on the topic and maybe put something to you. --Anthonyhcole (talk) 02:39, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Madhero88. Please check your email; you've got mail! It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template.
You may have noticed over the past few days that the MOTD that you link to on your user page has simply displayed a red link. This is due to the fact that not enough people are reviewing pending MOTDs here. Please help us keep the MOTD template alive and simply go and review a few of the MOTDs in the list. That way we can have a real MOTD in the future rather than re-using (This space for rent). Any help would be appreciated! –pjoef (talk • contribs) 11:42, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

July 2012 Study of authors of health-related Wikipedia pages
Dear Author/Madhero88
My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at the University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address recently edited an article on Leukodystrophy. I would like to ask you a few questions about you and your experience of editing the above mentioned article and or other health-related articles. If you would like more information about the project, please visit my user page (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Hydra_Rain) and if interested, please reply via my talk page or e-mail me on [email protected]. Also, others interested in the study may contact me! If I do not hear back from you I will not contact this account again. Thank you very much in advance.Hydra Rain (talk) 15:35, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Madhero88. I'm leaving you this message because you have previously been involved as an adopter with Wikipedia's Adopt-a-user program. A clean-up of this program is currently underway, and as part of the process I am trying to find out who is and isn't still interested in remaining an adopter.
If you would prefer not to be part of the adoption program anymore, you need do nothing; when the overhaul of the project is completed your name will be removed from the list of active adopters. However, if you have current adoptees, an active adoption school or an interest in adopting in the near future, then please let us know by signing here.
I'm contacting you because, as a participant at Wikiproject Medicine, you may be interested in a new multinational non-profit organization we're forming at m:Wikimedia Medicine. Even if you don't want to be actively involved, any ideas you may have about our structure and aims would be very welcome on the project's talk page.
Our purpose is to help improve the range and quality of free online medical content, and we'll be working with like-minded organizations, such as the World Health Organization, professional and scholarly societies, medical schools, governments and NGOs - including Translators Without Borders.
Hi Madhero88, I saw that you're a member of the pulmonology task force with special interest in COPD so I would like to ask you if you would be willing to peer review the Bronchitis article. I've listed it on the peer review page as well. Let me know here or on my talk page. Thanks! TylerDurden8823 (talk) 04:38, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The Wikipedia Library now offering accounts from Cochrane Collaboration (sign up!)
The Wikipedia Library gets Wikipedia editors free access to reliable sources that are behind paywalls. Because you are signed on as a medical editor, I thought you'd want to know about our most recent donation from Cochrane Collaboration.
Cochrane Collaboration is an independent medical nonprofit organization that conducts systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials of health-care interventions, which it then publishes in the Cochrane Library.
Cochrane has generously agreed to give free, full-access accounts to 100 medical editors. Individual access would otherwise cost between $300 and $800 per account.
If you are still active as a medical editor, come and sign up :)
To all editors displaying the "Vital Articles" template on their User Page.
Hi,
I recently tried to make a change to the list of Level 3 Vital Articles by replacing the entry
" [[Comparison of the imperial and US customary measurement systems|Imperial and US customary measurement systems]]"
with a new replacement article
" [[Imperial and US customary measurement systems]]".
Although I have advertised the proposed change on Wikipedia talk:Vital articles, I had no response and an anonymous IP editor took it upon himself to undo my changes on grounds that my proposal did not have a "strong consensus".

Your image for a vacuum aspiration has a few problems. I want to apologize -- I have a vague memory of bringing this up with somebody on Wikipedia years ago, then not following through for some real-world reason. If that was you, and I wasted your time, I apologize.
The uterus in your image appears in a relaxed position. Typically, a tenaculum is used to pull the cervix forward and make it as straight a shot as possible from the vaginal introitus to the fundus, because cannulae for suction aspirators do not bend as much as the one in your image.
I can't figure out what is holding the vagina open in your image; a regular speculum is typically used, and it typically holds the vagina much more open than that, because you need to have line of sight, a tenaculum, and a cannula all in there. It also extends all the way to the cervix -- often past the cervix, once the cervix is pulled forward with the tenaculum.
The weight of the speculum and tension of the tenaculum typically make the angle of the vaginal canal a bit more horizontal than you have depicted.
Finally, the aspirator is typically held like a pencil, not like a dagger. This makes it easier to not perforate the fundus, and is good surgical technique in general. The hand position in your illustration makes me wonder where the surgeon is standing!
I wish I could point you to a perfect image, but the Internet is short on those, and searching for abortion images that aren't heavily pro-life is very difficult. I found some that are 90%.
I think they've exaggerated the size of the uterus and fetus, and I can't tell where the tenaculum is placed -- it typically grasps the cervix horizontally at 11 and 1 or so; some place it vertically at noon but this can make the external os crowded.
This image also suffers from "short speculum syndrome." For reasons I don't understand, about half of all cross-sectional images of vaginas with speculums in them appear to have really short speculums.
Gestational age isn't listed, so no comment on uterine and fetal size. Clearly the image of the fetus is designed to provoke an emotional response.
Otherwise, this image is great. The surgeon is holding the EVA wrong (pencil grip again), speculum's a little short, and the tenaculum's crux is closer to the tip than I'm used to seeing.
I hope that this feedback is helpful! Again, love your work.

During August we have translated Disease and it is now live in more than 60 different languages! To help us focus on African languages Rubric has donated a large number of articles in languages we haven't previously reached–so a shout out them, and Ian Henderson from Rubric who's joined us here at Wikipedia. We're very happy for our continued collaboration with both Rubric and Translators without Borders!
At Wikimania there were so many enthusiastic people jumping at the chance to help out the Medical Translation Project, but unfortunately not all of them knew how to get started. That is why we've been spending considerable time writing and improving guides! They are finally live, and you can find them at our home-page!
New sign up page!
We're proud to announce a new sign up page at WP:MTSIGNUP! The old page was getting cluttered and didn't allow you to speficy a role. The new page should be easier to sign up to, and easier to navigate so that we can reach you when you're needed!
Style guides for translations
Translations are of both full articles and shorter articles continues. The process where short articles are chosen for translation hasn't been fully transparent. In the coming months we hope to have a first guide, so that anyone who writes medical or health articles knows how to get their articles to a standard where they can be translated! That's why we're currently working on medical good lede criteria! The idea is to have a similar peer review process to good article nominations, but only for ledes.
Some more stats
In July, 18 full article translations went live (WP:RTT), and an additional 6 simplified versions went live (WP:RTTS)!
We have a number of new lead integrators into Dutch, Polish, Arabic and Bulgarian, with more to come in smaller languages! (Find them here old sign up page)
I gather you are capable of creating maps. Can you make a few for me. Example Africa as an ellipse. On a globe Africa is an almost perfect ellipse, is it possible to draw it for use online?
Also I want a map containing Australia nested on North America which is nested on top of Asia/Europe/Africa.
Here is something that might whet your appetite:
On a globe of approximately 12” diameter, a disc of approximately two and three quarter inches, will cover about 13 degrees. (All dimensions are very approximate and so are the positions inferred below.)
Centred in the Tasman Sea (according to the globe, at the centre of the gyre of that sea) the disc will describe the west coast of New Zealand and Tasmania cutting Australia at Melbourne and Rockhampton.
It will cut the west coast of Australia, if centred near Ayre's Rock but leave out as much land to the south as sea it includes to the north. The two arcs are joined by the same arc with the disc centred where all the storms seem to have focussed in the South Australian Basin recently -and describe the west coast of Tasmania again, cutting through a lot of towns on the south Australian coast from Adelaide to Albany, -following what I can only presume is the low tide mark of the Great Australian Bight.
Centred on the coast of what used to be called New Guinea (at the end of the Maoka or Ma Oke? Mountains on the Gulf of Sarera) the disc covers one side of the coast of the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf, runs south of Arnheim Land and cuts the Gulf of Carpenteria at a point where a chain of islands run out to Mornington Island; a point where the centre of that same disc would describe the north coast of PNG.
Centred somewhere in the Lake Ayre complex (somewhere near the source? (or mouth*) Of Cooper's Creek) it describes the East coast of Australia.
Lake Ayer is the low point in the Australian depression. All the creeks lead into it, I imagine. Of course when the wet is in full spate I imagine it could well work in reverse. Perhaps someone could enlighten me?
The same arc appears all along the Asian coastline. It will describe the Gulf of Tonkin for example, the west coast of the Philippines and quite a lot of the southern edge of the Indonesian Archipelago.
More?
Try out a 60 degree arc over the Pacific and North America.
There are a particularly nice set encompassing the Rockies and the Aleutians and another set centred on the land between the greatest tidal ranges in the world and the Icelandic Low.
15 degrees off Africa in the SE Atlantic Basin and one of 17 degrees excribing the lakes in SE Africa, cutting the ends of Ethiopia and Madagascar and describing the Seychelles Ridge through Reunion and Port Louis.

I was interested in using your mind maps of the limb musculature for a class I am teaching for med students, but I would like a vector diagram to correct some typos and make summaries on the image. Please let me know whether this is possible.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Royal Hashemite Court requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.rhc.jo/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 2003:71:EF0B:9E0:7896:9F9F:3FE5:9454 (talk) 19:16, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your edit to Uber (company). The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Bitetv22.svg
Thank you for uploading File:Bitetv22.svg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
