RZR is an American science fiction streaming series produced by Exertion Films and Gala Film.[1]

Background

In 2023 at San Diego Comic-Con,[2] it was announced that David Bianchi was the creator, co-writer, lead actor, and executive producer of the streaming series RZR.[3]

The show explores a dystopian world where technology, artificial intelligence, and the future of humanity intersect.[4] It premiered on the Gala Film[5] streaming platform in 2024[6] and is the first major production to be part of the Web3 content movement.[7]

The cast includes David Bianchi, Richard Cabral, Danny Trejo, and Mena Suvari.[1] The series received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.[8]

Plot

RZR is set in an alternate dystopian reality following the protagonist Grimm[9] as he develops a neural implant called the Acumen.[10] The implant is an invention that heightens his human abilities on his rise to power by manipulating warring crime factions in an area known as the Grid Zone.
