Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (or Punjab PCC ), formerly known as the Punjab Provincial Congress Committee in colonial India , is the affiliate of the Indian National Congress in the state of Punjab . It is responsible for organizing and coordinating the party's activities and campaigns within the state, as well as selecting candidates for local, state, and national elections. On 9 April 2022, Amrinder Singh Raja Warring was appointed by the national leadership of Congress as the chief of Congress in Punjab.[ 1] He is a 25th president to hold the post. Present general secretary in-charge of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee is Devender Yadav who was appointed on 24 December 2023.
