Caicedo made his senior debut on 12 April 2022, coming on as a late substitute in a 2–2 Categoría Primera A home draw against Deportivo Pereira.[2] On 26 June 2023, after becoming a regular starter, he renewed his contract with Pasto.[3]
On 11 January 2024, Caicedo moved abroad for the first time in his career, after agreeing to a one-year loan deal with Red Bull Bragantino and being assigned to the reserves.[4]
