Gugulethu became Miss Teen World 2022, which took place in Ecuador, on October 19, 2022. She beat other teenagers from around the world to win the title.[5]
Miss Grand South Africa 2023
On July 22, 2023, Mayisela represented Gauteng at the Miss Grand South Africa 2023 pageant held at the Atterbury Theatre in South Africa's capital, Pretoria.[6]
At the end of the event, Mayisela was crowned as Miss Grand South Africa 2023 and succeeding by Lu Juan Mzyk of Pretoria.[6][7]
