From 1990 to 1993, at age 17-20, Bosanac was part of the Montažstroj Football Theater.[5]
From 2000 till 2019, Bosanac worked in the non-governmental sector at Zagreb's Centre for Peace Studies (CMS), working on LGBT rights, migration, rule of law and human security, notably civilian control over police and armed forces. [6] He took part in organising the first Zagreb Pride in 2002, was part of the campaign for conscentious objection in Croatia, and worked as peacebuilder trainer in 2000-2004. He contributed to founding the lesbian associations Iskorak (2002-2005) and Kontra, and worked for the association Domino (Queer Zagreb).
