Initially existing in the near future, the Global Peace Agency was brought into the present-day DC universe in Final Crisis #7 (March 2009).

History

The Global Peace Agency is a law-enforcement agency founded by the alien Visionaries, who seek to prevent humanity from destroying itself and causing the Great Disaster. To this end, they develop the satellite Brother Eye and the OMAC Project, working with scientist Myron Forest on the former.

The GPA's known agents include Renee Montoya,[3] Mister Bones,[4] Cameron Chase, Buddy Blank, and Nemesis.[5]
