The Battle of Oslo (Norwegian: Kampen om Oslo) or the Oslo Derby is the name given to football matches between Lyn Fotball and Vålerenga Fotball, both of them from Oslo, the capital of Norway.[1][2][3][4]
The league match at Ullevaal stadion in April 2024 notably broke the attendance record for the Norwegian First Division. The standing record was 17,284, a number that was surpassed by pre-match ticket sales already two weeks ahead of the match.[5] The figure ended at 25,103, far exceeding the former record.[6]
