Ammonium hexacyanoferrate(II) is an inorganic chemical compound with the chemical formula (NH₄)₄[Fe(CN)₆].^[1][2]

Neutralization of ferruginous acid with ammonia solution followed by salting with ethanol:^[3]

H₄Fe(CN)₆ + 4NH₃ → (NH₄)₄[Fe(CN)₆]

Ammonium hexacyanoferrate(II) forms green crystals.

The compound is well-soluble in water, and does not dissolve in ethanol.

It forms hydrates.^[4][5]
