The 2023–24 season is CSKA Sofia's 75th season in the Parva Liga (the top flight of Bulgarian football) and their eighth consecutive participation after their administrative relegation in the third division due to mounting financial troubles. In addition to the domestic league, CSKA Sofia participates in this season's edition of the Bulgarian Cup and UEFA Europa Conference League. Note: The game has been originally scheduled for 29 July 2023, but has been rescheduled due to CSKA's ongoing participation in the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League.[3] On 10 October the technical committee of the BFU rescheduled the game for 1 November 2023.[4]
