النيفرين (بالإنجليزية: Nephrin)‏ هو بروتين ضروري للتشغيل السليم لِحاجز الترشيح الكلوي. يتكون حاجز الترشيح الكلوي من الخلايا البِطانية المُنفردة والغشاء القاعدي الكبيبي والخلايا الرجلاء للخلايا الطلائية. النيفرين هو بروتين عبر الغشاء ومُكوِن هيكلي لفتحة الحجاب الحاجز.[1] إنَّه موجود على أطراف الخلايا الرجلاء كشبكة معقدة وينقل الشحنات السالبة القوية التي تمنع البروتين من العبور إلى حيز بومان.

خلل في جين النيفرين،NPHS1، يرتبط بالمتلازمة الكلوية الخلقية من النوع الفنلندي ويسبب فقدان كميات هائلة من البروتين في البول أو البول البروتيني. وأيضاً النيفرين مطلوب لِتنمية القلب والأوعية الدموية.[2]
