Os Chuegos Olimpicos de Múnich 1972, conoixitos tamién como Chuegos d'a XX Olimpiada d'a era muderna, estioron os Chuegos Olimpicos que se celebroron en Múnich (Alemanya Occidental) dende o 26 d'agosto dica o 11 de setiembre de 1972. I participoron 7.134 esportistas de 121 países.[1]

Istos Chuegos estioron trachicament conoixius per un acto terrorista. O 5 de setiembre, terroristas palestinos de Septiembre Negro asasinoron a dos atletas israelís, y prenioron a atros nueu como hostaches, reclamando la liberación de mas d'un centenar de presos politicos palestinos. Dimpués d'un frustrau intento de rescate, se desligó una mortalera en a cual acaboron muertos os hostaches israelís, un oficial d'a policía d'Alemanya Occidental, asinas como cinco d'os ueito terroristas. Istos feitos son conoixidos como a masacre de Múnich. Tot y con l'ocurriu, os Chuegos siguioron con total normalidat, dimpués d'estar suspendius per nomás vinticuatro horas.

Candidaturas

Se presentoron cuatro ciudaz pa alberar los Chuegos, Múnich, Detroit, Madrit y Mont-reyal. Finalment, Múnich estió la ciudat que aconsiguió la candidatura olimpica lo 26 d'abril de 1966, en a 64ª Sesión d'o COI en Roma, Italia, superando en votos en segunda ronda a las otras candidaturas presentadas.

Candidatura espanyola

En Espanya i heba dos ciudaz intresadas en presentar-se como candidatas pa organizar estes Chuegos, Madrit y Barcelona.

A priori la candidatura de Barcelona pareixeba la mas solida per tener experiencia en organización de grans eventos como los Chuegos d'a Mediterrania de 1955, y tener gran parte d'as instalacions esportivas ya construyidas como lo Estadio Olimpico. Pero lo Comité Olimpicos Español y lo gubierno decidioron en navidat a zaguera hora y sin poder asistir muitos d'os representants catalans per estar de vacancias, y Juan Antonio Samaranch impulsor d'a candidatura de Barcelona, yera en Australia con l'equipo espanyol de tenis, a mas de cuasi sin tiempo pa presentar la candidatura a lo COI que sería Madrit la ciudat candidata d'o COE.
