Bertrand van Tripoli

Bertrand van Tripoli of Bertrand van Toulouse (?, ca. 1165 - Tripoli, Libanon, 21 April 1112) was Graaf van Toulouse, Markies van Provence en die eerste Graaf van Tripoli.

Hy was die oudste seun van Raymond IV van Toulouse en was regent oor Toulouse tydens sy vader se veldtog, die Eerste Kruistog. Tussen 1098 en 1100 is Bertrand afgeset deur sy niggie Filippa van Toulouse en haar man Willem IX van Akwitanië wat hom wou verower om vir Willem se kruistog te kon betaal. In 1105 het Bertrand die volwaardige graaf van Toulouse geword en in 1108 het hy na Tripoli gegaan om dit van sy neef Willem-Jordan te verower. Daarna het hy heerser van Tripoli gebly tot met sy dood in 1112. Hy is in Tripoli opgevolg deur sy seun, Pons van Tripoli. Toulouse het hy aan sy halfbroer Alfons Jordaan gelaat wat intussen weer in die hande van Willem IX van Akwitanië geval het.

Bertrand het in ongeveer 1095 met Helena van Boergondië (1080-1141), 'n dogter van Odo I van Boergondië, in die huwelik getree. Hulle het drie kinders gehad:

  • Pons van Tripoli, opvolger, graaf van Tripoli
  • Filipe, (1099-1102)
  • Ines of Ineke, getroud met Reinoud, heer van Margat
