Yayasan Pesantren Islam (YAPI) Bangil merupakan sebuah pondok pesantren Bangil, Kabupaten Pasuruan yang didirikan pada 21 Juni 1976 oleh Ustaz Husein Al-Habsyi.[1] Pondok pesantren ini terdiri atas dua lembaga, yakni pesantren putri yang terletak di Bangil dan pesantren putra yang terletak di Kenep, Beji, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Pesantren ini menyelenggarakan beberapa program pendidikan seperti pendidikan takhasus yang berijazahkan Strata 1 (S1), Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) yang menggunakan kurikulum dikbud dan diniah (ilmu agama), serta sebuah taman kanak-kanak.[2] YAPI juga aktif melakukan kegiatan keagamaan seperti pengajian, penerbitan majalah, dan kegiatan sosial keagamaan.[3]

Pendirian YAPI bermula sebagai bagian dari gerakan Syiah[4] di Kabupaten Bondowoso, Jawa Timur pada 1971.[5] Meskipun demikian, YAPI Bangil dan YAPI Bondowoso didirikan oleh orang yang berbeda dan masing-masing berdiri sendiri.[3] Pada salah satu bukunya, Husein Ja'far Al Hadar mendeskripsikan YAPI sebagai pesantren "yang menjadikan Syiah sebagai salah satu mazhab Islam yang diajarkan dan dikaji secara terbuka bersama mazhab-mazhab lain, khususnya Sunni".[6] Pada 2011, Ketua YAPI Mukhsin Assegaf menyatakan bahwa YAPI merupakan pesantren "non-sektarian" dan "mengajarkan semua paham".[7]
