Universitas Victory Sorong (UNVIC Sorong) merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta yang berada di Papua tepatnya di Kota Sorong, Provinsi Papua Barat Daya.[1] Universitas Victory Sorong juga salah satu perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang termasuk ke dalam wilayah kopertis 14.[2] Universitas Victory Sorong memiliki motto yang tertera pada logonya yaitu "Iman, Ilmu, dan Pelayanan".
Akademi Victory Sorong
Universitas Victory Sorong didirikan oleh Ibu Filiani Marunduri dan Bapak Edward Kalami. UNVIC Sorong berada dalam pembinaan Yayasan Victory Sorong. Latar belakang didirikannya perguruan tinggi ini berdasarkan pada keinginan sang pendiri untuk memberikan pendidikan serta mencerdaskan generasi muda di tanah Papua. UNVIC Sorong didirikan pada 5 Juni 1992, yang pada saat itu masih bernama Akademi Victory Sorong.
Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi
Pada tahun 2000 status Akademi Victory sorong dinaikkan menjadi Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Sorong yang memiliki 3 jurusan diantaranya Akuntansi, Manajemen, dan Ekonomi Pembangunan.

Sesuai dengan Surat Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan Republik Indonesia Nomor 93/D/o/2008 tepatnya pada tanggal 5 Juni 2008 status STIE Victory kemudian berubah menjadi Universitas Victory Sorong dengan 11 program studi dan 5 fakultas.

Universitas Victory Sorong memiliki Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Internal (LPMI) yang berperan dalam penetapan standar mutu, dilanjutkan dengan monitoring dan evaluasi secara periodik. Hasil Monitoring dan evaluasi tersebut nantinya digunakan sebagai feedback dalam penetapan standar untuk siklus berikutnya.Inti dari kegiatan Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Internal (LPMI) Universitas Victory Sorong adalah peningkatan kualitas secara berkelanjutan.[3]
