The Challenger adalah film Amerika Serikat produksi tahun 2015 bergenre drama olahraga yang ditulis dan disutradarai oleh Kent Moran dengan eksekutif produser Michael Clarke Duncan, yang juga ikut bermain.[1] Film ini menampilkan Kent Moran, Michael Clarke Duncan, S. Epatha Merkerson, dan Justin Hartley.[2]

Proses produksi film ini dimulai pada tahun 2012 di Bronx, New York, Amerika Serikat. Film yang dirilis pada 11 September 2015, ini merupakan film terakhir dari Michael Clarke Duncan.[3][4] Produksi film ini merupakan debut pertama Kent Moran sebagai sutradara. Dia juga membintangi dan memproduksi Listen to Your Heart.[5] Syuting dimulai pada 2012 di Bronx, di mana film ini berlangsung.[6]

Plot

Dengan bantuan dari pelatih tinju legendaris Duane Taylor (diperankan oleh Michael Clarke Duncan), Jaden Miller (Kent Moran) berjuang menyelamatkan diri dan ibunya (S. Epatha Merkerson) dari hidup di jalanan.[1]
