SKKL SMPCS atau Sulawesi Maluku Papua Cable System (SMPCS) adalah kabel komunikasi bawah laut yang terbentang di wilayah Sulawesi, Maluku, dan Papua.[1] Dalam pembangunannya, kabel ini terdiri dari dua paket yakni paket 1 sepanjang 5.617 km dan paket 2 sepanjang 3.155 km.[2] SMPCS merupakan program lanjutan dari pembangunan Mega Proyek Palapa Ring dan salah satu proyek jangka panjang PT Telkom mewujudkan Indonesia Digital Network (IDN).[1] Dalam pembangunan SMPCS, Telkom menggandeng dua perusahaan luar Indonesia yakni Alcatel Submarine Network (ASN) dari Prancis dan NEC Corporation dari Jepang.[3] Pembangunan SKKL ini diperkirakan selesai pada tahun 2015.[4] Lalu, dana yang dikucurkan dari proyek ini sebesar Rp 3,6 triliun.[2] Pada peresmiannya, 10 Mei 2015, Joko Widodo presiden Republik Indonesia hadir untuk merayakan.[2][3]

Berdasarkan arah aliran jaringannya, SKKL SMPCS memiliki tiga jalur utama yaitu Manado – Ambon – Fakfak – Timika, Manado – Sorong – Biak – Jayapura, dan Ambon – Kendari, serta 13 cabang meliputi: Jailolo, Ternate, Labuha, Sorong, Mangole, Sanana, Namlea, Masohi, Banda Neira, Bula, Manokwari, Sarmi, dan Kaimana.[4]
