Ronald Acuña Jr.

Ronald José Acuña Blanco Jr. (lahir 18 Desember 1997) adalah pemain luar bisbol profesional Venezuela untuk Atlanta Braves dari Major League Baseball (MLB). Setelah menandatangani kontrak dengan Braves sebagai agen bebas internasional pada tahun 2014, Acuña melakukan debut MLB pada tahun 2018, dan memenangkan Penghargaan Rookie of the Year Liga Nasional.

Sejak 2018, Acuña telah membuat empat penampilan tim MLB All-Star, memenangkan tiga Penghargaan Silver Slugger, dan dua kali memimpin liga di markas yang dicuri. Kehidupan pribadi

Kakek Acuña, Romualdo Blanco, dan ayah, Ronald Acuña Sr., bermain bisbol liga kecil.[1] Acuña Sr. mewakili Venezuela di Pan American Games 2011.[2] Acuña Jr. adalah anak sulung dari empat bersaudara.[3] Ibunya adalah Leonelis Blanco.[4] Adik laki-lakinya, Luisangel, adalah pemain bisbol profesional untuk New York Mets.[5] Seorang paman, José Escobar, bermain untuk Cleveland Indians pada tahun 1991, dan beberapa sepupu juga pernah bermain di Major League Baseball, yaitu Vicente Campos, Alcides Escobar, Edwin Escobar, dan Kelvim Escobar.[6]

Acuña menikah dengan Maria Laborde pada 31 Agustus 2023.[7][8] Mereka sudah saling kenal selama empat tahun dan mengumumkan pertunangan mereka pada Januari 2023.[9] Pasangan itu memiliki dua putra.[8]
