Pustaka Budaya Indonesia

Indonesia menyimpan beragam kebudayaan yang beragam dari Sabang hingga Merauke, dari Miangas hingga Pulau Rote. Kekayaan budaya tersebut bila tidak dikelola dengan baik, akan hilang pada waktunya, baik melalui Perlindungan, Pengembangan, Pemanfaatan, dan Pembinaan seperti yang diamanatkan dalam UU Pemajuan Kebudayaan.

Pustaka Budaya Indonesia merupakan platform kerja kolektif database kebudayaan Indonesia yang melakukan inventarisasi dan pengembangan budaya Indonesia. Kerja kolektif ini diinisiasi oleh Sanggar Olah Seni Sulolangi. Diharapkan masyarakat umum, dapat berkontribusi untuk menyampaikan informasi kegiatan yang dilakukan sekecil apapun oleh individu atau kelompok dalam usahanya melestarikan budaya Indonesia melalui database yang disediakan. Dan sebaliknya pula, database ini dapat diakses oleh masyarakat untuk kemajuan budaya Indonesia.

Plafform ini bermula dari kegelisahan saat melakukan penelitian ritual Sang Hyang Dedari tahun 2015. Saat itu peneliti melihat proses transformasi budaya berupa penggending (penanyi Gending) dilakukan tidak melalui pola perekrutan terbuka maupun genetis. Sehingga akan rawan bila penggending senior berhalangan untuk memimpin ritual.

Peneliti merasa perlu dilakukan proses dokumentasi secara visual maupun audio, sehingga dapat dikaji dan dijadikan referensi untuk kemudian hari. Pola alih budaya tertutup dan tanpa genetis pun masih banyak terjadi di kesenian tradisi indonesia sehingga salah satu solusinya adalah dibuatkan platform kolektif yang menghimpunnya.
