Prasasti Malenga

Prasasti Malenga adalah salah satu prasasti yang dikeluarkan oleh Raja Sri Maharaja Mapanji Garasakan dari Kerajaan Janggala, yang berangka tahun 974 Saka (1052 M).[1][2] Prasasti ini berbentuk 7 lempeng tembaga, dan merupakan salinan (tinulad) dari aslinya yang kemudian diberi angka tahun 1258 Saka (1336 M).[1]

Prasasti ini menceritakan pemberian anugerah status sima kepada desa Malenga,[2] karena penduduk desa tersebut telah membantu raja melawan musuhnya, yaitu Aji Linggajaya dari Tanjung.[1][3] Prasasti ini ditemukan di desa Banjararum, Rengel, Tuban,[3] dan sekarang disimpan di Museum Nasional Indonesia di Jakarta, dengan nomor inventaris E-18.[4]
