Pran Krishan Sikand (12 Februari 1920 – 12 Juli 2013), lebih dikenal dengan mononimnya, Pran, adalah aktor India pemenang Filmfare Award dan BFJA Award, yang dikenal sebagai penjahat dan aktor karakter dalam film Hindi dari tahun 1940an hingga 1990an.[1] Dia di film berperan sebagai pahlawan dari 1940 hingga 1947 dan sebagai penjahat 1942-1991 dan menjadi pemain pendukung serta karakter peran dari 1948 hingga 2007.

Dalam karier yang panjang dan produktif ia muncul di lebih dari 350 film. Ia bermain sebagai pemeran utama di film seperti Khandaan (1942), Pilpili Saheb (1954) and Halaku (1956). Peran-perannya dalam film seperti Madhumati (1958), Jis Desh Men Ganga Behti Hai (1960), Upkar (1967), Shaheed (1965), Aansoo Ban Gaye Phool (1969), Johny Mera Naam (1970), Victoria No. 203 (1972), Be-Imaan (1972), Zanjeer (1973), Don (1978), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977) dan Duniya (1984) dianggap di antara penampilan terbaiknya.

Pran telah menerima berbagai penghargaan dan kehormatan dalam kariernya. Ia memenangkan Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award tahun 1967, 1969 dan 1972 dan dianugerahi Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award pada tahun 1997. Ia dianugerahi sebagai 'Penjahat Milenium Ini' oleh Stardust pada tahun 2000.[2] Pemerintah India memberinya penghargaan Padma Bhushan pada tahun 2001 dan Dadasaheb Phalke Award pada 2013[3] atas kontribusi terhadap film India. Pada tahun 2010, namanya masuk dalam daftar CNN 25 aktor top Asia sepanjang masa.[4][5]

Dia meninggal pada 12 Juli 2013 pada usia 93 setelah menderita sakit berkepanjangan di Rumah Sakit Lilavati Mumbai.[6]
