Pezizomycotina adalah subdivisi terbesar dari Ascomycota, yang mencakup ascomycota berfilamen dan banyak fungi yang termasuk dalam lumut kerak. Kelompok ini kurang lebih sinonim dengan takson Euascomycota yang lebih tua. Fungi-fungi ini bereproduksi secara fisi, bukan tunas. Subdivisi ini mencakup hampir semua fungi askus yang memiliki badan buah yang tampak oleh mata telanjang, kecuali genus Neolecta dalam Taphrinomycotina.
