Pertempuran Bun'ei (文永の役, Bun'ei no eki), yang juga dikenal dengan istilah Pertempuran Teluk Hakata Pertama, adalah upaya pertama Dinasti Yuan yang didirikan oleh bangsa Mongol dalam menyerbu Jepang. Setelah menaklukkan permukiman-permukiman Jepang di Pulau Tsushima dan Iki, armada Kublai Khan bergerak ke daratan Jepang dan mendarat di Teluk Hakata, yang terletak tidak jauh dari ibu kota administratif Kyūshū di Dazaifu. Meskipun memiliki persenjataan dan taktik yang lebih unggul, jumlah pasukan Mongol kalah jauh dari jumlah samurai Jepang, karena orang-orang Jepang telah bersiap-siap semenjak mendengar kabar kekalahan di Tsushima dan Iki. Jepang juga dibantu oleh badai besar yang menenggelamkan banyak kapal Mongol. Pada akhirnya, upaya penyerangan ini berhasil digagalkan oleh Jepang. Pasukan Yuan mundur dan melarikan diri ke kapal mereka satu hari setelah pertempuran. Badai taifun (topan) pada malam itu mengancam kapal mereka dan membuat mereka kembali ke Korea. Banyak kapal yang tenggelam malam itu akibat badai tersebut.[1]
