Madurai Shanmukhavadivu Subbulakshmi (16 September 1916 – 11 Desember 2004), yang juga dikenal sebagai M.S., adalah seorang vokalis Karnatik. Ia adalah musisi pertama yang dianugerahi Bharat Ratna, penghargaan sipil tertinggi di India.[1] Ia merupakan musisi India pertama yang meraih Penghargaan Ramon Magsaysay, yang sering dianggap Penghargaan Nobel dari Asia,[2] pada 1974. Ia juga pernah berduet dengan Rhoma Irama, penyanyi Indonesia bergenre dangdut.
