Lima Puluh Kota merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang ada di kecamatan Lima Puluh, kabupaten Batu Bara, provinsi Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. Kantor-kantor pemerintahan kabupaten Batu Bara, berada di kelurahan ini. Pada tahun 2021, jumlah penduduk Lima Puluh Kota sebanyak 5.531 jiwa, dengan kepadatan 3.457 jiwa/km².[1]
Kantor-kantor pemerintahan kabupaten Batu Bara berada di kelurahan Lima Puluh Kota. Seperti Kantor Bupati dan Wakil Bupati, Kantor DPRD, Kantor Badan Pusat Statistik, kantor KPU, kantor PLN, Dinas Kesehatan, dan kantor lainnya. Namun, sebuah proyek pembangunan Kawasan Perkantoran Pemerintahan Batu Bara sedang dalam proses pengembangan, dan dirancang dibangun tahun 2021 dan selesai tahun 2023. Lokasinya berada di desa Perkebunan Lima Puluh, tidak jauh dari kelurahan Lima Puluh Kota.[2]
Pada tahun 2021, jumlah penduduk Lima Puluh Kota sebanyak 5.531 jiwa, dengan kepadatan 3.457 jiwa/km². Penduduk di kelurahan ini memiliki beragam latar belakang suku dan agama. Berdasarkan data Kementerian Dalam Negeri tahun 2021, persentasi penduduk menurut agama yang dianut di kelurahan Lima Puluh Kota adalah pemeluk agama Islam sebanyak 60,54%, kemudian Kristen 38,53%, dengan rincian Protestan 34,49% dan Katolik 3,94%. Sebagian kecil lagi beragama Buddha yakni 0,80% dan kepercayaan 0,13%. Sementara untuk rumah ibadah, terdapat 3 masjid, 7 musholah, 7 gereja Protestan, dan 1 gereja Katolik.[3]
