Kalium oktaklorodimolibdat (sistematis bernama kalium bis(tetraklorodimolibdat) (Mo-Mo) (4−)) adalah senyawa anorganik dengan rumus kimia K4Mo2Cl8 (juga ditulis sebagai K4[Cl4MoMoCl4]). Ini dikenal sebagai padatan mikrokristalin berwarna merah. Anion adalah bunga bersejarah sebagai salah satu ilustrasi awal ikatan empat kali lipat. Garam biasanya diperoleh sebagai dihidrat berwarna merah muda.

Senyawa dibuat dalam dua langkah dari molibdenum heksakarbonil:[1][2]

2 Mo(CO)6 + 4 HO2CCH3 → Mo2(O2CCH3)4 + 2 H2 + 12 CO
Mo2(O2CCH3)4 + 4 HCl + 4 KCl → K4Mo2Cl8 + 4 HO2CCH3

Reaksi asetat dengan HCl pertama kali dideskripsikan sebagai pemberian senyawa trimolibdenum,[3] tetapi analisis kristalografi selanjutnya mengkonfirmasi bahwa produk tersebut mengandung ion Mo2Cl84- dengan simetri D4h. Jarak Mo – Mo adalah 2,14 Å.[4]
