Joan-Enric Vives i Sicília (Katalan: [ʒuˈan ənˈriɡ ˈbiβəz i siˈsili.ə]; lahir 24 Juli 1949) adalah seorang pastor Spanyol, yang menjabat sebagai Uskup Urgell sejak tahun 2003,[1] dan oleh karena itu merupakan Co-Pangeran Andorra. Hal ini menjadikannya sebagai kepala negara bersama (bersama Presiden Perancis) dan salah satu dari dua tokoh agama Katolik di dunia yang juga memimpin suatu negara, wali gereja lainnya adalah Paus sendiri (yang memimpin Kota Vatikan).

Ia memegang pangkat uskup agung[1][2] sebagai perbedaan pribadi, keuskupannya adalah keuskupan sufragan.

Riwayat hidup

Vives i Sicília lahir pada tahun 1949 di Barcelona sebagai putra ketiga Francesc Vives i Pons dan istrinya Cornèlia Sicília Ibáñez, yang bekerja sebagai pedagang eceran kecil. Ia memasuki Seminari pada tahun 1965 dan belajar Humanitas, Filsafat dan Teologi. Pada tahun 1974, Vives ditahbiskan sebagai imam di paroki asalnya Santa Maria del Taulat de Barcelona. Romo Vives i Sicília kemudian dinominasikan sebagai Auxiliary Bishop Barcelona (dan Tituler Bishop Nona) pada tahun 1993, serta dikonsekrasi pada episcopacy dan otomatis menjadi anggota Spanish Episcopal Conference. Vives i Sicília kemudian diangkat pada jabatan Archbishop sebagai gelar pribadi oleh Paus Benediktus XVI pada bulan Maret 2010.[3]
