Institut Teknologi Garut atau disingkat ITG adalah perguruan tinggi swasta yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Garut Provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia. ITG merupakan pengembangan dari Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut (STT-Garut) yang sudah berdiri sejak 18 Juni 1990 [2] dengan Izin Perubahan Bentuk yang diterbitkan pada tanggal 1 Juli 2021 dengan Nomor SK PT 303/E/O/2021.[3] Saat ini ITG memperoleh peringkat Akreditasi Institusi “Baik Sekali” dari BAN-PT.[4] Saat menjadi STT-Garut pada tanggal 17 Februari 2021 memperoleh penghargaan peringkat I dari LDIKTI 4 (Jawa Barat dan Banten) sebagai Sekolah Tinggi dengan peringkat klaster terbaik LDIKTI 4 berdasarkan Pemeringkatan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Terkait dengan profil mahasiswa, saat ini mahasiswa ITG telah mampu menunjukkan prestasinya pada berbagai ajang kompetisi Nasional dan Internasional.

Selanjutnya dalam upaya memenuhi tuntutan globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi, ITG telah melakukan berbagai pengembangan diataranya: Lab. Teknologi, pengembangan pusat layanan mahasiswa berbasis teknologi, pengembangan unit penunjang pengembangan karir CDC (Carrier Development Centre), lembaga Inovasi dan kewirausahaan (LIK), lembaga pengembangan pendidikan, pembelajaran dan bahasa (LP3B), Tempat Uji Kompetensi Mandiri Cipta Inovasi (TUK-M Cipta Inovasi), Sertifikasi BNSP.[5]

Institut Teknologi Garut saat ini memiliki 5 program studi yaitu:
