Hanna Fransisca

Hanna Fransisca (lahir 30 Mei 1979) adalah sastrawan berkebangsaan Indonesia. Namanya dikenal malalui karya-karanya berupa puisi, cerpen, dan esai yang dimuat di berbagai media massa. Selain itu dia juga menerbitkan dan naskah drama. Beberapa penghargaan telah diterima atas karya-karyanya. Hanna merupakan salah satu sastrawan yang belajar secara autodidak.[1]

Latar belakang

Hanna Fransisca lahir di Singkawang, Kalimantan Barat, 30 Mei 1979. Menempuh pendidikan hingga lulus SMP. Menjelang dewasa, ia sempat bekerja bersama orang-orang Dayak, berdagang karet mentah dan menjadi pelayan toko, kemudian merantau ke Jakarta. Ia mulai belajar menulis secara otodiak, lewat dunia maya dan bacaan. Tulisan-tulisannya dimuat di berbagai media massa antara lain Harian Kompas, Suara Merdeka, Koran Tempo, Malang Pos, Pikiran Rakyat, majalah sastra Pusat, Horison, dan Jurnal Sajak. Dalam sejumlah karya tulisnya, ia kerap mewarnai ceritanya dengan hal-hal yang paling dekat dengan dirinya. Budaya dan pernak-pernik kehidupan sosial warga Tionghoa, rutinitas kehidupan pasar yang sering ia amati, penggusuran lahan atas nama pembangunan yang kerap memicu percik kerusuhan, konflik etnik para pedagang kaki lima, hingga empatinya terhadap nasib orang gila. Cerita pendek pertamanya, Darahku Tumpah di Kelenteng, terpilih sebagai salah satu cerpen pilihan Jakarta International Literary Festival 2008.[2][3]

Pada tahun 2010, ia menerbitkan buku kumpulan puisinya Konde Penyair Han di Goethe Haus, Jakarta, bercerita tentang masa lalunya yang getir. Buku ini mendapat penghargaan sebagai kumpulan puisi terbaik versi majalah Tempo (2010) dan mengantarkannya masuk sebagai 5 besar nominator penerima penghargaan Khatulistiwa Literary Award 2010, untuk kategori puisi. Selain itu ia juga terpilih sebagai tokoh sastra versi majalah Tempo 2011.

Setelah sukses pada karya pertamanya, pada bulan juni 2010, ia kembali menerbitkan kumpulan cerpen karyanya dalam antologi Kolecer & Hari Raya Hantu. Pada tahun 2012, ia kembali meluncurkan 3 buah buku sekaligus yakni Benih Kayu Dewa Dapur, kumpulan cerpen Sulaiman Pergi ke Tanjung Cina dan sebuah buku naskah drama bertajuk Kawan Tidur. Selain berkecimpung sebagai penulis, perempuan yang hingga kini tetap menetap di Jakarta ini juga aktif di organisasi sosial Lions Club Jakarta Kalimantan Barat Prima.
