Codex Monacensis diberi kode X atau 033 (penomoran Gregory-Aland), A3 (penomoran von Soden) adalah sebuah naskah Injil dalam bahasa Yunani yang ditulis dengan huruf-huruf Uncial. Berdasarkan paleografi diberi tarikh abad ke-9 atau ke-10. Ada bagian-bagian yang hilang dari naskah ini (lacunose).

Markus 14-16 tidak terbaca.

Deskripsi

Kodeks ini memuat bagian-bagian dari empat Injil pada 160 lembaran perkamen tebal (37,5 cm kali 25,5 cm) dalam urutan Western: Matius, Yohanes, Lukas, dan Markus. Kodeks ini terlestarikan dalam kondisi terpisah-pisah. Ditulis dalam dua kolom per halaman, 45 baris per halaman[2] dengan huruf-huruf uncial kecil, tegak, oleh tangan yang "sangat elegan". Beberapa huruf dikompresi.[3] Teks Injil disertai komentari patristik (kecuali Markus), komentari itu ditulis dalam huruf minuscule.[4] Ada tanda-tanda napas dan aksen.

Tidak ada pembagian seperti τίτλοι (judul), juga tidak ada pembagian Ammonius dan Kanon Eusebius. Teks-teks Matius 16:2b-3 dan Yohanes 7:53-8:11 tidak dimuat.

Teks Yunani Kodeks ini tergolong jenis teks Bizantin, dengan sesekali pembacaan tampaknya tergolong jenis teks Alexandria. Aland memberikan profil 1051, 381/2, 12, 11S dan menempatkan dalam Kategori V.

Dalam Markus 9:49 ada varian tekstual πας γαρ πυρι αλι αλισθησεται bukan πας γαρ πυρι αλισθησεται.[5]

Sejarah

Codex ini pada tahun 1757 disimpan di Innsbruck. Sebelumnya di Roma, Ingolstadt (sebagai hadiah dari Gerard Vossius (1577-1649)), pada tahun 1827 tiba di Munich, sekarang disimpan di Perpustakaan Universitas Munich (fol. 30) di Munich.[6]

Diteliti oleh Joseph Dobrovsky, yang mengkolasi beberapa bacaan untuk Johann Jakob Griesbach. Scholz mengkolasi, namun dengan kurang teliti. Tischendorf mengkolasi teks pada tahun 1844 dan Tregelles pada tahun 1846. Burgon meneliti naskah itu pada tahun 1872.
