Arongan Lambalek (ejaan Acèh: Arôngan Lambalék) adalah sebuah kecamatan di Kabupaten Aceh Barat, Provinsi Aceh, Indonesia. Ibu kota kecamatannya berada di Gampong Drien Rampak dan merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Aceh Barat dengan luas 130,06 Km². (4,44% dari luas kabupaten), terdiri dari 2 kemukiman dan 27 gampong. Sebanyak 16 gampong berada di daratan, 3 gampong berada di lereng/punggung bukit dan 8 gampong terletak di lembah/daerah aliran sungai. Kecamatan Arongan Lambalek, Kabupaten Aceh Barat merupakan Kecamatan termiskin di kabupaten Aceh Barat. Jumlahnya angka kemiskinannya mencapai 36 persen dari total jumlah penduduk.[4]
Kecamatan Arongan Lambalek berbatasan dengan Kecamatan Woyla Barat di bagian utara. Di sebelah timur, Kecamatan Arongan Lambalek berbatasan dengan Kecamatan Samatiga. Kecamatan Arongan Lambalek berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Aceh Jaya di sebelah barat. Sementara di sebelah selatan, Kecamatan Arongan Lambalek berbatasan dengan Samudra Hindia.[5]
Suhu udara rata-rata sepanjang tahun 2015 adalah 26,3 °C dengan suhu terendah 26,3 °C pada bulan Januari dan September dan suhu tertinggi 27,1 pada bulan Maret. Kelembaban udara berkisar pada 90%. Curah hujan pada tahun 2015 menurun dibanding tahun sebelumnya. Pada tahun 2015, curah hujan Kecamatan Arongan Lambalek sebanyak 169,00 mm per tahun, sedangkan curah hujan tahun 2014, 288,23 mm per tahun. Curah hujan tertinggi tahun 2015 terjadi pada bulan April yaitu 498,2 mm dan curah hujan terendah pada bulan Maret yaitu 167,4 mm.[6]
