Andrew Gordon

Gilbert Andrew Hugh Gordon (lahir 23 Juli 1951) adalah seorang akademisi sejarawan perang maritim asal Inggris. Ia menulis sejarah Perang Dunia Pertama bertajuk The Rules of the Game (Jutland & the British Naval Command) (1996).

Kehidupan awal

Gordon menerima pendidikan formal awalnya di Glenalmond College, di Perthshire, Skotlandia. Dia menerima gelar BSc di bidang Ekonomi dari Universitas Wales, Aberystwyth dan gelar PhD (1987) di bidang Studi perang dari King's College London, Universitas London.[1]

Dia sebelumnya berpangkat Lieutenant Commander di Kapal HMS President, Pasukan Cadangan Angkatan Laut Kerajaan yang berbasis di London.[2]
