Agama Ryukyu, Ryukyu Shinto (琉球神道), Nirai Kanai Shinkou (ニライカナイ信仰), atau Utaki Shinkou (御嶽信仰) adalah sistem kepercayaan adat pribumi dari Kepulauan Ryukyu. Walaupun legenda-legenda dan tradisi-tradisi yang spesifik mungkin sedikit berbeda dari tempat ke tempat dan dari pulau ke pulau, agama Ryukyu umumnya ditandai dengan pemujaan leluhur (lebih tepat disebut "penghormatan leluhur") dan menghormati hubungan antara orang hidup, orang mati, serta dewa-dewa dan roh-roh dari dunia alam. Beberapa dari keyakinan tersebut, seperti hal-hal yang menyangkut roh-roh lokus genius(roh penjaga tempat-tempat tertentu) dan banyak makhluk lainnya yang tergolong di antara para dewa dan manusia, adalah indikasi dari akar animisme kuno, seperti perhatiannya terhadap mabui (まぶい)(まぶい?), atau esensi kehidupan.
Dari waktu ke waktu, praktik keagamaan Ryukyu telah dipengaruhi oleh agama-agama Tiongkok (Taoisme, Konfusianisme, dan kepercayaan tradisional Tionghoa), agama Buddha dan agama Shinto Jepang.[1] Salah satu fitur keagamaan yang paling kuno adalah kepercayaan onarigami (おなり神code: ja is deprecated ) (おなり神?), keunggulan spiritual wanita yang berasal dari Amamikyu, yang memungkinkan untuk pengembangan dari sistem noro (pendeta wanita) dan pengikut yang signifikan dari yuta (cenayang atau dukun perempuan).
