羅伯特·安德魯·白樂思（英語：Robert Andrew Blust，1940年5月9日—2022年1月5日），又譯白樂斯，生於美國俄亥俄州辛辛那堤，语言学家與人類學家。研究領域涵括歷史語言學、辭書學，以及民族学等方面。白氏特別專精於南島語系，也對南島語言學方面作出相當大的貢獻。

簡歷

白樂思生於美國俄亥俄州辛辛那堤，成長於加利福尼亚州。在夏威夷大学马诺阿分校獲得人类学學士，於1974年再獲得語言學博士學位。他生前為榮任教授，任教於夏威夷大學馬諾阿分校語言學系，2005年至2008年擔任系主任。

2022年1月5日，白樂思因不敵癌症病魔所擾，病逝於美國夏威夷州檀香山，享壽81歲。

南島語系

他亦擔任大洋洲語言學期刊審核編輯，此期刊為一份涵蓋南島語系方面的學術期刊。白氏知名於南島語系方面的研究，完成的著作有一大部「南島語系比較詞典」(Blust 1995c)，及一部「邵語詞典」(Blust 2003b)。其他比較有名的著作為2009年出版的「南島語系學」，這是一本僅有單一作者、且涵蓋語言學各方面論述（音韻學、语法学、構詞學、音變學（英语：Sound change）、分類學等）的南島語系大部頭書籍。

田野工作

於97年開始白樂思就進行語音學田野方面的工作，諸如在砂拉越、巴布亚新几内亚，以及台灣等地區。在台灣，他完成一些台灣南島語言的田野工作，諸如邵語、噶瑪蘭語、巴宰語、阿美語、排湾语，以及賽夏語等諸語種。他所出版的高度瀕危語言邵語的詞典、是在目前所出版的南島語詞典裡屬於較為完整及內容豐富的著作，此部「邵語詞典」有 1,106 頁。[1] 白氏不但在語言學，也在神話彩虹（英语：rainbows in mythology）及龍的文化面向都有高度的興趣。
