本列表列出了歷任印度駐美國大使館（英语：Embassy of India, Washington, D.C.）大使。

1947年8月15日，美国总统哈里·S·杜鲁门向印度自治領總督路易·蒙巴頓致贺电，承认印度联邦为独立国家。而在此之前美国已经于1946年与印度建立外交关系，并将双方的使团升格为大使馆级别。[1]1946年12月6日，印度政府任命信仰伊斯兰教的国大党党员阿萨夫·阿里（英语：Asaf Ali）为首任印度驻美国大使，[2]后者于次年2月赴美就任。[3]

2024年7月19日，印度政府任命已退休的前印度外交祕書（英语：Foreign_Secretary_(India)）维奈·莫汉·克瓦特拉为下一任印度驻美国大使，接替于该年初退休的塔蘭吉特·辛格·桑杜。[4][5]
