早年生活

1953年他生于加拿大伦敦[1]，父母为愛德華 （Edward H. Haggis） 和 瑪莉（Mary Yvonne） (Metcalf)[2]。家庭是天主教家庭[3]，不过直到加入山達基以前他却自认为是一个无神论者（35年后的2009年退教）[4]。由于他父母在当地拥有剧院，因此他获得了在剧院工作的许多经验[5]。他先在St. Thomas More Elementary School 上学[6]，后来由于被希区柯克和尚盧·高達所影响，开始到 H. B.
