K457/458次列车是中国铁路运行于河南新鄉至海南省會海口之间的一对快速旅客列车，自2007年4月18日起開行，现由郑州铁路局郑州客运段海口车队负责客运任务。列车使用4組中国铁路25G型客车，沿京广铁路、衡柳铁路、湘桂铁路、黎湛铁路及粤海铁路运行，途经河南、湖北、湖南、广西、广东及海南五省一区，全程2417公里。其中新鄉站至海口站運行35小时17分，使用車次為K457次，海口站至新鄉站運行33小时58分，使用車次為K458次。

历史

K457/458这对车次曾用于岳阳至深圳的广铁集团管内快速列车，其前身为2001年7月1日开通的L601/602次临时旅客列车，该列车由广深铁路公司担当[2][3]，是廣深鐵路公司第一班始發长途列车[4][5][6]，同年10月21日转为图定，车次改为K457/458次[7]，经京广铁路和广深铁路运行，并一度使用涂为广深铁路公司涂装的中国铁路25K型客车，后于2004年4月18日改为N721/722次列车，原车次得以留空。[8]2007年4月18日，该列车的车次又改为N553/554次[9]，2009年4月1日因全路快速列车车次调整而改为K9003/9004次列车。[10]

第二代K457/458次列车于2005年9月28日开通，当时武汉铁路局和南昌铁路局各开通一班武昌至南昌的城际快速列车，武汉局担当K455/456次，南昌局担当K457/458次。[11][12]2006年7月1日，由于武九铁路提速，这两对城际列车分别改为T275/276次和T277/278次并更换25K型车体，K457/458这对车次再度留空。

现有的K457/458次列车于2007年4月18日隨着中国铁路第六次大提速而開行，该列车由郑州至长沙的2153/2154次列车（2000年以前为557/558次）延长而来，当时运行线路为京广铁路、石长铁路、洛湛铁路、湘桂铁路、黎湛铁路。因为需要在长沙站和益阳站切换上下行，因此使用车次为K457/456、K458/455次。其中K456/455车次使用于石长铁路区间，K457/458车次使用于其余区间。 在湘桂铁路扩能工程期间，K457/456、K458/455次列车的晚点现象十分严重，因此被戏称为“晚点大王”。鉴于该列车晚点严重，铁路部门决定，2013年10月10日至12月30日，K457/456次列车停运；2013年10月12日至2014年1月1日，K458/455次列车停运[13]。

2014年1月，郑州铁路局重新增开该旅客列车，列車於長沙至桂林段改經京廣、衡柳線運行，同时取消K456/455车次[14]。同年7月1日起，K457/458次列車於桂林至柳州段改經衡柳铁路運行，并更换为DC600V直供电车體[15]。

2015年7月1日，配合中國鐵路調整列車運行圖，K457/458次列車经粵海线、粤海轮渡延长到海口站始發終到。为此，列车车队组织60余名乘务员分两批到海口学习跨海轮渡应急救生相关知识，并到Z201次列车实际体验并学习跨海列车的乘车注意事项及乘务经验。[16]

2023年7月1日，K457/458次列车延長至新鄉。[17]
