24 (第五季)

《24》是美国霍士電視台的電視影集，第五季於2006年1月15日開始首映，已於2006年5月22日播出該季最後一集。

第五季的故事情節於早上7:00開始和結束。與前一季的時間架構相同。僅給予美國觀眾的第四季的DVD中，有這季10分鐘的前傳。在英國的Sky One開始播送第五季之前也有播出。推測起來，這個前傳也有可能被包含在英國推出的第五季DVD中，就像第四季的前傳被包含在第四季的DVD中。

大綱

第五季（2006年）是被設定在第四季的18個月之後，且是第一季的事件之七年半之後（推断其发生在2009年9月）。杰克·鲍尔現在是化名為Frank Flynn，在煉油廠工作，過著過一天算一天的煉油廠工人。杰克從一個單身母親和他的一個15歲兒子Derek那裡，租了一間位於洛杉磯北方的房間。

第五天設定為總統查爾斯·洛根在總統任期中的歷史性一天。他計畫與俄羅斯總統Yuri Suvarov一起簽署反恐聯盟協議。這也是該天的事件背後的動機，在當天發動攻擊的俄羅斯恐怖份子堅信這個協議將會增加他們人民的苦難。

情節

與前一季有很多相似，這季可以被分成幾個部份：

  • 1-2集：包智傑（Jack Bauer）被誣陷為殺害前美國總統柏大衛（David Palmer）以及前CTU探員丁妙思（Michelle Dessler）的兇手，以及對她的丈夫和前CTU探員的同事艾東尼（Tony Almeida）謀殺未遂。
  • 3-4集：恐怖份子利用前述的情節作為聲東擊西，在加州的安大略國際機場中挾持40個人質。
  • 5-15集：恐怖份子利用前述的情節，聲東擊西地偷了20罐的Sentox VX1神經毒氣。這些毒氣部署於：
    • Sunrise Hills購物商店（部份成功，導致11死）；
    • 泰勒紀念醫院（被包智傑和文國定【Curtis Manning】阻止）；
    • CTU洛杉磯辦事處（主要成功，導致了56人死亡，包括施艾克【Edgar Stiles】）；
    • Wilshire瓦斯公司（被阻止，餘下16罐都在這裡用盡）。
  • 16-21集： 透過柏偉賢（大卫·帕默的弟弟）和Evelyn Martin（第一夫人的特別助理）的幫助，智傑發現勞卓思總統應該為這些恐怖襲擊的幕後主謀，其他每個人都完全不知道。而有一群男人組成的祕密集團監視且左右勞總統的行動，由一個僅知稱為Graham的人所領導。智傑最後獲得一個勞總統涉及攻擊的錄音，然而它稍後在CTU被Miles Papazian所破壞，使得錄音完全無效用。
  • 22-24集：貝華狄（Vladimir Bierko）從CTU的監禁中逃脫，並且使用他的最後一罐神經毒氣來接管了一艘俄羅斯潛艇，以及獲得12枚多彈頭非核子彈道飛彈，每一枚可以摧毀將近七個城市的規模。再与韓基斯（Christopher Henderson）談妥條件之後，智傑和韓基斯共同阻止了潛艇的攻擊，並且殺死了貝和他的成員。在最後，智傑把韓也殺掉。智傑立刻與岳高蓮（Chloe O'Brian）一起想出了一個計畫讓揭開勞總統的罪行。勞總統最後屈服於正義被拘捕，然而，智傑被那些知道他還活著的中國特工抓走，中國仍然因為在第四季中被誤擊的中國駐洛杉磯總領事而追捕他。這季在智傑被抓上中國貨船送走中結束。
