2024年美國總統選舉民主黨初選（英語：2024 Democratic Party presidential primaries）是美國民主黨在2024年舉行的總統初選，以確定該黨在2024年美國總統選舉中的總統候選人。初選将于2024年1月至6月期间在美國50個州、哥倫比亞特區及5個美国海外領地舉行。

概要

时任总统拜登欲爭取竞选连任，他在初選民调中保持显着领先。[1]自1884年以来，没有一位现任总统在總統初選中落败。[2][3]尽管拜登自2021年以来就多次表示有意竞选连任，但在他担任总统的头两年，有人猜测他可能因年龄和低支持率而不会寻求连任。[4][5]

民主党在2022年中期选举中表现超出预期后，许多人认为拜登竞选并赢得党内提名的机会有所增加。[6]2023年4月25日，拜登通过视频宣布竞选连任。[7]

佛罗里达州及特拉华州黨代表將全數代表人票投給拜登，故沒有舉行初選。

風險投資家賈森·帕爾默（英语：Jason Palmer (politician)）在美屬薩摩亞民主黨初選中擊敗了拜登。[8]

2024年3月12日，拜登在贏得喬治亞州民主黨黨總統初選（英语：2024 Georgia Democratic presidential primary）的108張黨代表票後，已獲得的黨代表票數超過欲獲得提名所需的1,968張門檻。因此黨內推定喬·拜登贏得2024年民主黨總統候選人的提名，預計在同年8月的的全國黨代表大會上正式確認。[9]

2024年7月21日，拜登宣布退出美国总统大选。並宣布支持賀錦麗代表民主黨參選。[10]7月22日，賀錦麗已獲大多數民主黨代表票的支持，預計成為民主黨總統候選人，並且將會在2024年8月19日至22日的民主黨全國代表大會確認。[11]

7月30日，民主党全国委员会表示，民主党全国代表大会代表将于8月1日至5日举行网络投票（virtual vote），正式推选副总统賀錦麗为该党在11月5日选举中的总统候选人。[12]

8月2日，民主黨全國委員會主席海梅·哈里森宣布，賀錦麗已從民主黨代表中贏得足夠的選票，贏得該黨總統提名。[13][14]
