4月1日

  • 中央流行疫情指揮中心宣布，即日起實施第十二輪家用抗原快篩試劑實名制。目前實名制家用抗原快篩試劑貨源穩定充足，維持每輪購買週期1個月，凡是持有健保卡或居留證之民眾，均可至藥局及衛生所購買，每輪每位民眾可購買1份5劑，購買份數至多可購買6份（30劑），並可分次（次數不拘）購買（可代購），讓有需要篩檢族群可以購得每日所需之快篩數量，售價仍為每份（5劑）500元（醫材原則售出，概不退換）[1]。

4月20日

  • 澳洲東部時間下午2時30分許，澳大利亞維多利亞州斯特拉斯莫頓鎮（英语：Strathmerton）的1處路口發生車禍，造成5人死亡，其中3人當場死亡，其餘3人送醫有2人不治，而車上還有1隻狗死亡。死者中的4名乘客為3名女性、1名男性，其中有3名台灣人、1名香港人，年齡皆為20多歲的年輕人，在澳洲從事農業工作。超速的29歲男駕駛因涉犯危險駕駛導致他人死亡罪已被起訴，在地方法院受審。此次事故為當地11年以來，首次發生的災難性事故[3]。

4月25日

  • 彰化縣北斗鎮四海路一段87號的聯華食品彰化廠於凌晨6時45分發生火災，造成8人死亡、14人受傷，死者中1名39歲菲律賓籍女移工莉卡經2天搶救於27日下午因多重器官衰竭死亡。死者為4名台灣籍和4名菲律賓籍移工，其中7名死者在彰化殯儀館相驗，7人無被燒痕跡，多數是窒息而死，應都是被濃煙嗆到窒息或嗆傷而身亡。火勢於上午8時30分許已控制。初步調查起火點是在二樓廠區的油炸機[4][5][6]。

4月30日

  • 中央流行疫情指揮中心宣布，因民眾購買家用抗原快篩試劑實名制的需求降低，且目前自由市場的家用抗原快篩試劑供應充足，家用抗原快篩試劑實名制已完成階段性任務。因此，家用抗原快篩試劑實名制政策將實施至該日止[7]。
